This cat painting is of Ben, a beautiful black and white cat who lived in New Zealand. Ben sadly passed away recently and his owner commissioned this portrait of him as a family gift. I love painting cats and enjoyed painting Ben's portrait particularly, he was such a handsome cat it was my pleasure to paint him here in his own environment, sitting on a garden wall in the warm sunshine.
