This painting of Abermawr beach in Pembrokeshire looks from the south, across the beach to the headland beyond, Penbwlchdu and behind that, Strumble Head. Abermawr is a stretch of coastline that is regarded as a Site of Special Scientific Interest in Pembrokeshire, here in Wales. The beach is mostly shingle with marsh and woodland behind it, and is a beautiful stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path popular with many walkers walking along the coast past Porthgain, Abereiddi and Abercastle.
