A painting of Abercastle and its wonderful natural harbour in Pembrokeshire, in west Wales. Abercastle is an idyllic fishing village nestled between Fishguard and St Davids. Once an important trading harbour, it historically exported local slate, grain, limestone, butter, honey, corn, and coal. You can still see the remains of nineteenth-century limekilns in situ.

This view looks north, gazing down into the harbour from the magnificent Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
