Q: Do you accept international commission orders?
- A: Yes. I regularly paint custom commissions for clients all over the world. While tracked mainland UK shipping is fully included in my prices, international shipping rates are calculated and quoted individually based on your final destination and package size.
Q: How long does a custom oil painting take to finish?
- A: A custom oil painting typically takes approximately six weeks to complete. This timeline is vital because it includes the necessary studio time for the heavy oil paints to cure completely and receive a protective gallery varnish before being packed securely for travel.
Q: Can you combine multiple pets from separate photographs into one painting?
- A: Absolutely. You do not need to have a single photograph featuring all of your pets together. I can digitally combine your separate images using Photoshop to create a unified layout preview for your approval before I begin painting on the canvas.
Q: Do your original paintings or prints come framed?
- A: All artwork and prints are sold unframed as standard to give you complete freedom of choice. However, I am delighted to manage the entire framing process on your behalf through my trusted local partners, Cottage Harmony Framing Company, ensuring your piece arrives beautifully finished and ready to hang.
