Archival Quality Paper
My Welsh giclée prints are published on archival 240gsm Fotospeed Matt Ultra fine art paper, using archival-quality pigmented inks. Giclée is a French term meaning "spraying of ink". Traditional litho printing typically uses a resolution of 300 dots of pigment per inch, whereas giclée printers can achieve 1800 dpi. This method achieves tremendous detail.
- Border Details: All prints feature a additional 1" (2.5cm) white paper border surrounding the printed image.
- Mounting: All prints are shipped unmounted as standard. If you would like your print professionally mounted before shipping, please get in touch before completing your purchase.
- Open Edition: These prints are unsigned and unnumbered, produced as a beautiful, unlimited edition run.
- Limited Edition: Capped at a run of just 150 copies, signed and numbered by hand and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
Mounting and Framing
To make framing as easy as possible, the majority of my fine art prints are designed to fit standard, readily available frame sizes once they are mounted. This gives you the flexibility to either have your print professionally framed locally or to easily purchase a standard, off-the-shelf frame elsewhere (Dunelm, Habitat, e.t.c).
Mounting suggestion: combining printed image (print) + decorative white space + mount = Frame size.

What You Need to Tell Your Framer: If ordering a custom mount online, simply enter the Corresponding Frame Size as your 'Outer Size', and the Aperture Size as the 'Inner Size'.
